….if you even think about pinching me today.
but lucky for you i am wearing green but yes its just one of those mornings.
i was so frustrated sewing these cute little aprons that i almost put the words “bite me” on the tags. but as you can see i went with a more approachable name. although i think some with edgier tags would be a hoot!
and i wasn’t cranky because this was a difficult design or anything. its my sewing machine. its old, really old….. like my mom got it from dad when they first got married. so sometimes its just doesn’t want to sew right. the threads will wad up on the underneath side or the bobbin will become tangled and just freeze it up.
i know i should take it in for some fine tuning but i am afraid of how long it will be out of commission.
but eventually it rights itself for a while.
i will be adding these and some other springy little peg aprons to the etsy shop and the hillcrest store.
Ohhh I love the apron! Its so cute!
Haha! Bite Me would have been good.>>Happy St. Patty’s Day >>If you want to send your sewing machine into get it fixed up, you can always borrow mine…it’s nothing too spiffy but it will get the job done.
Personally, I would love an apron that said ‘bite me’ >>🙂
OK I love the stuff in your store…I am on your etsy team and right now I have no money. WAH! Those nests should be gone! They are so cute-the heart shadwo boxes too…and the farmgirl apron…awesome!
Luv your new things!>I am SO right there with you on the sewing machine thing. Mine is my mom’s old one too. I know all those terms: “wadding”, “threads bunching”….URGH! It’s so frustrating.
Cute apron, I know what you are saying about your machine. Mine loves to get temperamental half way through a project. Ahhhh, some times I think it would be easier to sew by hand.
