Well up the stairs that is.
Today I went to the shop to arrange my new space.
I have a perfectly lovely wall space at the top of the stairs.
Originally I had hoped for a bit more floorspace so that I could have placed a rolling rack for my aprons but I really like what I was able to do with the wall.
I found this old green window screen in my attic and it works perfect for displaying my aprons.
I have enough area for my shoppe girl Penelope. I don’t believe you have been formally introduced before.
Say hello to the nice people Penelope.
Farmgirls love fresh eggs.
These are a couple of my “Farmgirl” aprons. They personify what I like to call the “Farmgirl Philosophy”. Every “Farmgirl” apron is made from vintage or reclaimed fabric, usually from bed or table linens. The whole idea of using what you have and giving old items a new purpose.
I hope to find this move to be very pleasing. The space is much more manageable for the time I have to offer to my crafting these days.
Ya’ll come on up and see me sometime!
I love the way you used the screen door – and those farmgirl aprons rock. 🙂
I think it looks perfect!
The wall looks great, and I love the house cupcakes. Sorry I’ve not been here for awhile, but I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my life. 2008 was a terrible year for me and it didn’t round out very well in the end, so I am attempting to recooperate here in 2009. I hope we get to chat or see each other soon. Miss ya,>Cec
Looks beautiful lady!
OH! How pretty!
Ok, can you come over and do my kitchen now…I love the whole look. Awesome.
Your new vertical space looks great! I bet you’ll have fun figuring out new ways to display on that wall.
