Marvolo Riddle or Lolo for short. He lives for fun in the sun but mostly enjoys napping. He’s quite the little ball of sass.

When doing a pet portrait on an animal with black fur having the right photo to work from is important. Being able to see contures of a face, the direction that the fur is laying help to make the portrait look like a clients individual pet not just a generic animal of the same color. Having a photo with a lot of light on the face is best to work from and I can bring out the character of the pet in my artwork.

I especially enjoyed working on the tongue. And there’s so much expression in one eye!
