I just have to say I’ve never felt more inspired and encouraged as an artist as I am feeling lately.  And I am sure most of that is due to the fact that I am allowing myself to be inspired.  For years because I couldn’t wrap my head around the business of being an artist I kept it tamped down.  I would have ideas but because i couldn’t take them as far as I wanted I just tossed them to the side.  But not anymore.  And I am so happy.

My latest creations are my favorite!  Isn’t that always the case?  What we are into and creating at the moment is our dearest love.  For me it was having an inspiration and seeing it through to the end.

I LOVE my home state of Arkansas and I am completely smitten with my “Arkansas Collection” postcards and prints.  I have highlighted our state insect, flower, tree with in the outline of our state.

These are my first set of three.  There will be more to come.  They were pen and ink drawings that I colored in with colored pencils.  Creating these images reminded me of the new crazy of adult coloring books which gives me even more ideas.
