introducing our newest model in the front parlour room at the shoppes on woodlawn.
lulu.
her past experience included the window at victoria’s secrets but she feels quite at home with us too. she i modeling one of my special aprons for valentine’s day. shhhhh…. its a bit on the naughty side. the tag reads sugar baby and the whole apron is made from a black swiss dot fabric that i just love. i want make myself a dress from it.

this is the boudoir corner. jerusalem found this awesome old vanity dressing table and just topped it off nicely with one of her signature lamps. its all vintage lace and the base has these precious porcelain roses on it.

i hang a lot of my aprons in our windows. here we have a pink floral half apron with a rounded skirt that was made from a vintage sheet. i love the pocket and was very proud of that detailing. its folded and pleated into a fan design.
this box is perfect for collecting all of your valentines.this is our red corner. every other corner in the room is pretty much pink but since it valentine’s day we needed a red one too. and yes that’s the christmas tree that’s still up. and unlike the one still in my living room this one is all decked out for valentine’s day. we plan on keeping it up and dressing it for the different seasons. its adorned with red hankies and doilies and some of jerusalem’s new signs.

this vintage mirror compact is holding two glass heart necklaces. you can see lulu and bessie wearing them as well.


and dear sweet bessie we haven’t forgotten you. she got a new dress or rather a vintage slip… you know the whole boudoir theme. and she is modeling the sassy cupcake apron. there’s even a cupcake in her pocket.

well that’s our little room for valentine’s day. i must say i love to stay for just a bit on 1st thursdays just to here to gasps and squeals. you know build the ole ego up. 🙂

    hi.i got your message about the black apron being gone. sad for me.i was thinking that would make quite a nice valentine’s gift…wearing that and nothing else. 🙂but i will have to make my own.bummer.and i am sorry you are feeling so down.i do know that as we go through trials in life so that we can depend more on God and not ourselves. it’s easier said than done. but He wants you ALL the way…not halfway. He wants you to grow closer to Him through every challenge. Yet so often we dig deeper into ourselves instead. You are not bad luck. God loves you and your family. But we just can’t see that bigger picture that He does. i hope it gets better soon.and your heart feels better soon.-meg
